We use cookies to try and give you a better experience in Freshdesk.
You can learn more about what kind of cookies we use, why, and how from our Privacy policy. If you hate cookies, or are just on a diet, you can disable them altogether too. Just note that the Freshdesk service is pretty big on some cookies (we love the choco-chip ones), and some portions of Freshdesk may not work properly if you disable cookies.
We’ll also assume you agree to the way we use cookies and are ok with it as described in our Privacy policy, unless you choose to disable them altogether through your browser.
It would be helpful if users could turn off the display of custom messaging on sites where they no longer need it -- for example, once a user has set up Academic Pass access on New York Times or other newspaper websites, they know to login (or save login), so having to dismiss the custom banner once a day every day is annoying to them. If the user could either permanently dismiss the message or dismiss it for a longer time, they'd be happier.

Coming soon the user will be given the option to dismiss a banner for 1 or 30 days which sounds like one of the solutions to this suggestion. Stay tuned!
