LibKey Nomad currently is not available on mobile device due to browser limitations. We have received requests from faculty to make it availabe on mobile devices. Users are expecting the same experience across platforms and devices.

Thanks for checking in! We have successfully prototyped this on iPad devices (not iPhone and not Android) so I'm pleased to say this will be moving forward! We can look to see if there is interest in additional devices after this initial release in this new ecosystem. The UI is very similar to the desktop with Safari. I've moved this request to "In Progress!"

All - I appreciate the continued interest in this topic! I don't have any updates just yet but know that we are not ruling it out but need to do some experimenting to make sure this is a practical thing to do - particularly that the user experience is solid. Thank you!

This would be really useful considering most students are accessing resources from mobile devices these days - there has been a recent push by faculty and library teams to have the Nomad extension available on tablet/mobile so as to ensure that we are supporting a diverse learning environment - especially given that many students learn on the go or have no/limited access to PCs/laptops. Is this development something that is currently being looked at?

@nancy This is not being ruled out and we are making necessary pre-requisite steps to get there (an update forthcoming that removes a mandatory mouse-over action for example which is not mobile compatible). So know that this is still being looked at! Thanks!

Is mobile development for LibKey Nomad under consideration for future development? I'm following up on this question only because we're making a bigger push to encourage all our users to adopt Nomad. so it would be cool.
