How do I download the BrowZine app?

BrowZine is available for Android and iOS mobile devices.  By far the easiest way to do this is to enter the App Store on your device and then search for 'browzine'.  There is only one matching app - BrowZine - to this query!  The app is free to download.

You can also direct users to this easy to remember and easy-to-link page:

I don't see my library listed.

After downloading the mobile app or using browzine.com, if you do not see your library in the list and you suspect that your library SHOULD have an active subscription, please contact us immediately.

BrowZine is a service and thus an institutional subscription is required.  If you would like to get a feel of what BrowZine can do, we do offer a free version which you can choose called "Free: Sample Open Access Publishers" which you will see in the list of schools.  After a simple registration, you will have access to over 200 titles from BioMed Central and PLoS.  If you would like to see more from your library's collection, please have your library contact us at sales@thirdiron.com to learn more about getting started with a trial!

What are the system requirements to run the BrowZine app?

iOS:

BrowZine is tested with the latest iOS version available to run on iPads, iPhones and iPod Touches.

Devices using older versions of iOS may be able to run older versions of the BrowZine app, but we would recommend using a device capable of running the latest version for the best possible experience.

Android:

As of version 3.0.0, BrowZine requires Android 12 or newer.
